Scratch

In the deepest darkest moment of the night, just for a second a flicker of moonlight, a deep scratch shatters your soul, so fast you never really know, whether you felt it or not or if it was just a moment of fear, slithering across your mind, binding you near, until the wetness slips down you face, the salty taste of blood washes across your tongue, to the sky you look no blue is clear, splash of faded red and the claw which you fear.
